Rev. Benjamin E. Mann
Associate Pastor of Preaching and Pastoral Care
Rev. Ben Mann was called as Mayflower’s Associate Pastor in August of 2022. Ben has served the Denver community for some time, as a minister, chaplain, and community advocate. As Pastor, Ben's focus is on teaching and preaching, as well as further educational and developmental opportunities for the congregation. Ben graduated from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in 2019 and completed their Clinical Pastoral Education residency in 2022. Before attending seminary, Ben worked in national and global nonprofit and public work in Washington, DC. Ben holds an undergraduate degree in International Studies, a Masters in Public Administration, and a Masters of Divinity. They are also doing graduate study and will soon be a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in sex, sexuality, and trauma.
Rev. Dr. Paul Leon Ramsey
Pastor Emeritus
Rev. Ramsey grew up in Denver and is a graduate of South High School. After spending time away from Colorado for college and Divinity School, Paul returned to Denver and met his wife Sarah. Sarah teaches Art History and English at Cherry Creek High School. The Ramseys also include Grace, Lucy, and Park Leon. The Ramseys live in the Baker Historic neighborhood (near downtown Denver). Paul is also the Executive Director of A Little Help, a Denver nonprofit promoting intergenerational connections and helping older adults thrive in their homes (www.alittlehelp.org). He also serves as the chair of the Denver Commission on Aging.
Paul enjoys playing with his girls, watching Park giggle, skiing, and plays soccer (now that his body has retired him from other sports). His favorite living author is Cormac McCarthy, he loves music and is the frontman for Leon's Revival (a local bar band). Paul holds a bachelors degree from Abilene Christian University, Master of Divinity from Texas Christian University, Brite Divinity School, and Doctor of Ministry from Iliff School of Theology.
